With her relationship with Jack as shaky as the foundation of her family home, psychic realtor Melanie Middleton is juggling several problems. There are the usual upsets that come with restoring her Tradd Street home and her mother urging her to go public with her sixth sense. But this new problem is more urgent. At first, Nola is charmed with the present and Melanie is delighted and has high hopes that the girl will allow herself to be drawn into the family she's never known. But when night falls, some unnerving shadows are cast within the miniature dollhouse rooms. By the time Melanie senses malevolent presences, it's too late.
